David Christiansen
9:30pm
Born in Philadelphia, to hardworking parents, David Christiansen soon learned the value of honest labor—and how to avoid it. "I started out entertaining Mormons. It was tough, but it taught me I could write clean and still get laughs." Now he has performed in all but two states and much of his comedy routine comes from his perceptions of how people act in different regions of the country. After several films and TV appearances, Christiansen still prefers the live audience. "I love people coming up and saying, 'That happened to me too!'"

Jeff Havens
9:00pm
For Jeff Havens, there is a fitting irony in becoming a comedian. “To be honest, I didn’t laugh until I was almost 15 years old,” he admits. “I just didn’t think anything was funny.” After a few years of teaching high school English, he came to realize that there are only two ways to deal with the absurdities of life: to laugh at them or drink yourself into a stupor. “Laughing was cheaper,” he confesses. Havens’ comedy takes aim at some of the most sensitive issues in America. He has toured with several rising comic stars, including Keith Alberstadt, Tim Northern, and James Johann.
