Darryl Rhoades
9:30pm
With an energetic live show that’s as diverse as his performing career, Darryl Rhoades is a true entertainer. In 1975, Rhoades formed the now legendary comedy/music troupe The Bahavishnu Orchestra, performing throughout the U.S. and Canada. His material earned rave reviews from performance media, including Rolling Stone and MTV critic Kurt Loder, who called him “one of the most savagely gifted writer/performers in the country today.”
Now Rhoades works a remarkable 51 weeks a year, entertaining audiences with a live show featuring multiple personalities, rapid-fire delivery and satirical music.
Amos Chang
9:00pm
If there’s one thing a comedian needs, it’s life experience. And Amos Chang has plenty of it. Raised in Kentucky, Chang became a member of the Louisville Police Department at age 21. After five years, Amos left the force for a more colorful life—betting on races, poker, backgammon, gin rummy and any other game of chance.
Slightly disillusioned, Chang realized he could turn his experience into a career in comedy. He’s since made appearances on Showtime’s Comedy Club Network and TNN and at shows throughout the country.
