The Indicators‚ the University of Louisville’s improv comedy troupe‚ began performing in August 2005. The group was founded by theater graduate student James Cronin‚ who needed to fill weekend entertainment slots at U of L’s Thrust Theater. Since then‚ The Indicators’ spontaneous and energetic performances have grown in popularity—best known for their long improvisations‚ often emceed by Cronin’s brilliant one-liners.
