Job Location: Varies by eventAvailability: Security Staff must be available to work evenings, weekends and some daytime shifts as required by event schedules.
Job Function: This position provides security assistance for WVU events (concerts, performing arts events, lectures, etc.).
Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA
- WVU full-time student status
Primary Responsibilities:
- Secure designated areas such as hallways, stage, dressing rooms, and parking lots.
- Check identification of personnel entering designated areas.
- Assist with the cleanup of the venue following the event.
- Adhere to event dress code.
- Attend staff training and staff meetings.
- Work scheduled shift as assigned.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

WVU student status and a 2.0 GPA are required for employees.
Significant time availability is required for positions.
