| Availability: | Student Stagehands must be available to work evenings, weekends, and some daytime and overnight shifts as required by event schedules. |
| Job Function: | This position provides labor assistance for WVU events (concerts, performing arts events, lectures, etc.). |
- Available to work FallFest (Aug. 22-24)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a team
- Problem-solving skills
- Substantial time availability
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (50 lbs. plus) Ability to work for long periods of time on your feet, lifting and moving equipment
- Theatre background a plus
- Minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA
- WVU full-time student status
Primary Responsibilities:
- Build stage and set assemblies.
- Erect scaffolding.
- Hang drapes.
- Lift and move equipment such as road cases, lighting and sound equipment.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Adhere to event dress code.
- Attend staff training and staff meetings.
- Work scheduled shift as assigned.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

WVU student status and a 2.0 GPA are required for employees.
