| Availability: | Usher/Ticket Takers must be available to work evenings and weekends. |
| Job Function: | This position provides patron services and assistance during WVU events (concerts, performing arts events, etc.), specifically determining that all patrons entering the performance facility have a valid and legal ticket for entrance and helping patrons to locate their proper seats. |
- Excellent customer service skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA
- WVU full-time student status
Primary Responsibilities:
- Present a positive and professional image as a WVU Arts & Entertainment representative.
- Greet patrons as they are entering the venue.
- Check the validity of the patrons' tickets as they enter the performance facility.
- Help patrons to locate their proper seats.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts relating to seating that may arise during a performance.
- Enforce facility policies
- Advise patrons as to location of facility amenities and services.
- Implement emergency procedures as the need arises.
- Assist with the cleanup of the venue following the event.
- Adhere to event dress code.
- Attend staff training and staff meetings.
- Work scheduled shift as assigned.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

WVU student status and a 2.0 GPA are required for employees.
Significant time availability is required for positions.
