| Availability: | Merchandisers must be available to work evenings and weekends.

| Job Function: | This position sells concessions (i.e. snacks and beverages) and/or artist merchandise
(i.e. t-shirts, cds) during WVU events (concerts, performing arts events,
etc.)
|
| Hourly Rate: | $12 |
Qualifications
• Excellent customer service skills
• Cash-handling experience
• Problem-solving skills
• Excellent communications skills
• Minimum of 2.0 cumulative GPA
• WVU full-time student status
Primary Responsibilities
• Set up concession and/or merchandise stands.
• Accurately count in (and out) sellable items.
• Greet patrons as they approach concession and/or merchandise stands.
• Adhere to all University and Arts & Entertainment cash-handling, security
and customer services policies.
•
Reconcile concessions and merchandise inventory and sales reports at the conclusion
of events.
• Advise patrons of the locations of facility amenities and services.
• Implement emergency procedures as the need arises
• Advise patrons of the locations of facility amenities and services.
• Assist with the cleanup of the facility at the conclusion of the event
• Adhere to event dress code
• Attend staff training and staff meetings
• Work scheduled shift as assigned
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor
