This film, co-produced by Francis Ford Coppola, begins with a brother and sister driving through rural America who stumble across a horrible secret. When they are almost run off the road by an old truck, they stop when they see it parked down the road. When the pair sees what they determine to be human bodies being dumped, they become curious and make a fateful decision—instead of leaving immediately, they begin to investigate the situation. What they find is not an answer to a crime, but an indestructible force that gets ever closer to them in this thrill-a-minute ride that pays homage to all of the great horror films. The presence chasing them gives chilling new meaning to the old song “Jeepers Creepers.”
