Renowned horror novelist Mike Enslin has made his fame on discrediting paranormal events around the world. His ghost-free run is about to change when he checks into suite 1408 of the notorious Dolphin Hotel for his latest project. Despite warnings from the hotel manager he spends a horrifying night in the room that will change his life forever.
