Bowfire brings the violin to a whole new level in a musical theatrical production that has critics raving and audiences leaping to their feet again and again. The show features the finest lineup of fiddle and violin virtuosos ever assembled on one stage. The Bowfire artists take audiences on a musical journey that moves seamlessly from jazz; classical; bluegrass; Celtic; rock; gypsy; world; Texas swing, Ottawa Valley, and Cape Breton styles; and mixes in incredible step and tap dancing and a beautiful voice. Backed by a quintet of guitar, cello, bass, piano, and drums, Bowfire transports audiences into scenes of moonlit romance, the high-octane jazz of the electric violin, the exotic flair of the Chinese erhu (a two-string violin) and climaxes with a fiery ensemble that brings down the house. This energy-packed performance is must-see entertainment for the whole family.
