Limited tickets remain for Dirty Dancing at the WVU Creative Arts Center Nov. 9

The national tour of Dirty Dancing – The Classic Story On Stage is making one stop at the WVU Creative Arts Center Nov. 9, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale at the Mountainlair and CAC box offices, online at Ticketmaster.com, and by phone at 304-293-7469 and 800-745-3000.

Like the movie, Dirty Dancing – The Classic Story On Stage is set in New York’s Catskill Mountains where 17-year-old Frances “Baby” Houseman is on vacation with her parents and older sister in the summer of 1963. Baby is mesmerized by the racy dance moves and pounding rhythms she discovers in the resort’s staff quarters and she cannot wait to be part of the scene – especially after she meets sexy dance instructor Johnny Castle.

This new production promises an unprecedented live experience, exploding with heart-pounding music, passionate romance and sensational dancing. The show also features an eight-piece band who will perform the hit songs we’re all so familiar with – “Hungry Eyes,” “Hey Baby,” “Do You Love Me?” and the heart-stopping “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life.”

After three successful years on tour that boasted numerous sold-out engagements, Dirty Dancing – The Classic Story On Stage will make one stop in Morgantown Nov. 9. Tickets are selling very quickly. Remaining tickets for the 7:30 p.m. show start at $49 for the general public and at $29 for WVU Students.

Tickets may be purchased at the Mountainlair and CAC box offices, online at ticketmaster.com, and by phone at 304-293-SHOW (7469) and 800-745-3000. WVU Student discounted tickets are limited to one per valid WVU Student ID or offer code. Discounted rates for groups of 20 or more are available by calling 304-293-SHOW (7469)
