Clint Black

Still ... Killin' Time 30th Anniversary Tour
Nov 15 • 7:30pm
WVU Creative Arts Center

Thirty years after his groundbreaking debut album, “Killin’ Time,” Clint Black is celebrating one of the most storied careers in modern country music. Black surged to stardom as part of the fabled Class of ’89 that included Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson and Travis Tritt, reaching No. 1 with five consecutive singles from that triple-platinum debut album. His second album, “Put Yourself in My Shoes,” also reached triple-platinum status. Black wrote or co-wrote every one of his more than three dozen chart hits, including “A Better Man,” “Nothin’ But the Taillights,” “When My Ship Comes In,” A Good Run of Bad Luck” and “Like the Rain.” In total, he charted 22 No. 1 singles, making him one of the most successful singer/songwriters of the modern era. You won’t want miss this country music traditionalist and his signature harmonica when the “Killin’ Time 30th Anniversary Tour” stops at the WVU Creative Arts Center.
