For more than 30 years, Mountain Stage with Larry Groce has been the home of live music on public radio. Produced by West Virginia Public Broadcasting and distributed by NPR Music, each two-hour episode of Mountain Stage can be heard every week on more than 240 stations across America, and around the world via NPR Music and mountainstage.org. Mountain Stage features performances from both seasoned legends and emerging stars in genres ranging from folk, blues, and country to indie rock, synth pop, world music, alternative and beyond. The shows are all recorded before a live audience. While most of those performances are held in Charleston, West Virginia, Morgantown has been the show’s second home for more than a decade. Each episode of Mountain Stage showcases five artists and culminates in a finale where all five artists come together on stage to perform the final song of the night.
Energetic and loud; come prepared to move or tap your feet.
