Emily Lehr and Ryan Brandenburg
10:30pm
Gluck Theatre
A native West Virginian, Emily Lehr finds comfort in the tradition of her Appalachian roots while maintaining her own spin on her sound. Borrowing from the likes of Carole King, Joni Mitchell and Bonnie Raitt, Lehr incorporates elements from a previous generation in addition to current influences such as Lizzy McAlpine, Sarah Jarosz and Kacey Musgraves.
Also, a West Virginia native, Ryan Brandenburg specializes in American folk music. With the help of his acoustic guitar and clawhammer banjo, Brandenburg plays a mix of traditional Appalachian tunes and original music.
