Booking
The primary purpose of this position is to research, plan, schedule, execute and evaluate student & revenue Events.
Job Location: Canady Creative Arts Center, Coliseum, Mountainlair &
other event locations
Pay Rate: $14.00/hour
# Hours: Weekly hours will average 10-20.
Job Responsibilities:
- Research other regional event promoters.
- Research relevant colleges & universities.
- Assess local market competition.
- Determine our local market strategic placement.
- Determine our local market programming opportunities.
- Research potential speakers, musicians, artists, programs, events, etc.
- Create written lists of potential event options.
- Develop market research needs for the Marketing Team.
- Contact performers, vendors, agents, etc. to discuss potential events.
- Develop an event budget proforma for each proposed event.
- Submit formal event offers, as directed.
- Update Google booking calendar.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned.
