The primary purpose of this position is to research, plan, schedule, execute and evaluate student & revenue Events.
Job Location: Canady Creative Arts Center, Coliseum, Mountainlair & other event locations

Pay Rate: $14.00/hour

# Hours: Weekly hours will average 10-20. 

Job Responsibilities:
  • Research other regional event promoters.
  • Research relevant colleges & universities.
  • Assess local market competition.
  • Determine our local market strategic placement.
  • Determine our local market programming opportunities.
  • Research potential speakers, musicians, artists, programs, events, etc.
  • Create written lists of potential event options.
  • Develop market research needs for the Marketing Team.
  • Contact performers, vendors, agents, etc. to discuss potential events.
  • Develop an event budget proforma for each proposed event.
  • Submit formal event offers, as directed.
  • Update Google booking calendar.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.
