Drake—rapper, singer, songwriter and the producer behind numerous chart-topping, platinum albums—performed before 6,000 fans at the Coliseum in 2010.

At the time of his concert, he was best know for his collaborations with Lil' Wayne, Kanye West and Jay-Z. Drake's solo career was just beginning and he performed songs from his self-released mix tapes because his debut studio album wouldn't be released until June.

Drake gave a shout out to the Mountaineer men's basketball team from stage, congratulating them on their trip to the final four. He hyped his upcoming album release by closing the show with the its title track, "Thank Me Later."

The "Away From Home" tour was presented by Reverb and Campus Consciousness. One of the tour's goals was to inspire and inform college students on ecological issues and how they could have a positive impact on their community and school. Drake toured with biodiesel fuel and used biodegradable and recyclable products backstage and on his bus.
