| Rick Nelson formed The Stone Canyon Band in 1969, to back him on the live album “In Concert at the Troubadour.” The band consisted of Randy Meisner (bass guitarist, of Poco and The Eagles), Tom Brumley (steel guitar player from Buck Owen’s Buckaroos), Allen Kemp (guitar) and Patrick Shanahan (drums). Some 2,000 fans were in attendance for the 1972 concert at the Coliseum. | ||
