Jay Leno, then exclusive guest-host of "The Tonight Show" and heir-apparent to late-night
legend Johnny Carson, performed at the WVU Coliseum in September 1990
in a special Parents Day concert. Tickets were a steal at only $15.
The show was met with rave reviews. A review of the show published in the Fairmont "Times West Virginian" called Jay the "everyman of comedy." Carl Kovac of The Dominion Post said Leno "makes is look so easy." Read the full review. |
