When country music superstar Luke Bryan and relative newcomer (at that time) Chris Stapleton entertained fans at the WVU Coliseum in 2013, it was definitely a night to remember.

Bryan's Dirt Road Diaries Tour stop in Morgantown sold out within hours of going on sale (and that was before Stapleton was announced as the opening act). Some 9,200 fans packed the Coliseum March 24 to hear Bryan perform the string of hits from his "Tailgates and Tanlines" album, including “I Don't Want This Night to End,” “Drunk On You,” "Country Girl (Shake It for Me)” and “Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye.”

One of the highlights of the concert came when Bryan invited Stapleton on stage for a completely and admittedly unrehearsed duet of Bryan's single "Drink a Beer," which Stapleton wrote. That performance was captured by
WhiskeyRiff's Wes Langeler.

While Bryan was in Morgantown, he paid a visit to a fan at WVU Children's Hospital and invited her to the show. Bryan can be seen welcoming her at the end of this video.

With Bryan's star power and Stapleton's raw emotion and undeniable talent, the performance was a truly special installment to the legacy of concerts hosted by WVU Arts & Entertainment.–Mel Moraes, The Daily Athenaeum. Read the full review here.
